Submission for the 1st Webflow Web App Building Competition, hosted by Wized and Memberstack.

Project Overview

Warp Domains helps creators and businesses find unique, brandable domain names with ease.

Its core functionality combines AI-powered domain generation with real-time availability checks, streamlining the often tedious process of name discovery.

• AI-driven domain name generation based on user-provided keywords

• Credit system (“Warps”)
• User authentication (email/password + Google Sign-In)

Development Journey

Over two intense weeks, I focused on turning Warp Domains from concept to working prototype.

Despite technical challenges, I successfully implemented the core features and established a strong foundation for future iterations.

Current Status

All essential functionality works within the Wized configurator, though several known issues remain on the Webflow domain.

Future Plans

Planned enhancements include:

• Usage-based payment system
• Dashboard metrics and analytics
• “Choose Your WARP” customization options
• Favorites and collections
• Streamlined onboarding flow
• Refined marketing and copywriting
  

Key Learnings

Initially, much of the business logic ran smoothly using Memberstack attributes.

Later, I rebuilt it entirely in Wized to gain finer control, especially over loading states.

Unfortunately, the “demo effect” struck, and some components broke just before the deadline.

In hindsight, that rebuild was a misstep given the time constraints, but an instructive one.

Closing

Participating in this competition was a valuable experience and a strong motivator to keep developing Warp Domains beyond the submission phase.
