‍I hereby present my submission for the 1st Webflow web app building competition hosted by Wized and Memberstack.

Project Overview

Warp Domains aims to simplify the process of finding unique, brandable domain names for businesses and side projects. The core functionality includes AI-powered domain name generation and availability checking.

Key Features

• AI-driven domain name generation based on input keywords
• Domain availability check
• History of all domain suggestions
• Credits balance (Warps)
• User authentication (email/password and Google Sign-In)
• Stripe integration for payments
• User profile management

Development Journey

Throughout the two-week period, I worked intensively on bringing Warp Domains to life. While facing technical challenges and time constraints, I managed to implement core functionalities and lay the groundwork for future improvements.

Current Status

The application's core features are functional in the Wized configurator. There are several known issues on the Webflow domain. The main site will be accessible at https://warp.domains upon completion.

Future Plans

I have an extensive roadmap for Warp Domains, including:

• Usage-based payment system
• Dashboard metrics and analytics
• Choose WARP style
• Favorites and collections features
• Enhanced onboarding process
• Improved marketing and website copy

Lessons Learned

To my surprise, I had a lot of business logic working flawlessly using Memberstack attributes. I later decided to re-create this functionality from scratch using Wized instead, because I preferred extra granular control over e.g. loading states. Unfortunately, the demo effect kicked in... and some things broke. My time to fix them had run out. Therefore, in hindsight, this wasn't the best decision I made.

I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to participate in this competition and am committed to continuing the development of Warp Domains beyond the submission deadline.
